Halloween

We took Daniel Trick-or-Treating for the first time yesterday. He went as Winnie The Pooh for Halloween (Thanks, Darla). He had a blast. We left our apartment at 7:20 with a baby that was not liking his costume; he was crying and starting to throw a fit. But as soon as we stopped at Christian and Nancy's apartment, that all changed. When Nancy put a handfull of candy into his little pumpkin, he started smiling and ran down the hall to Chris and Perry's apartment. That night he visited everyone in the 14 plex, 5 plex, and a bunch of people around town. After we stopped to Trick-or-Treat at the Hickerson's house, we ran out of gas. We found out that when our truck is down to "1/4" of tank, we are actually completely out of gas. So Janelle and I had to Trick-or-Treat for gas. Luckily, Jim had some gas in the shed behind their house. He then gased up our truck for us. What a deal! We had the new superintendent filling up our truck! After stopping at a few more houses, we headed home. It was 8:45 when we walked in the door. We told Daniel that he could have 1 piece of candy before "night-night". He chose a Kit-Kat bar. He sat on the couch and ate his Kit Kat bar, then jumped up and grabbed a bad of chips and ate them. So then I told him, "Time to go brush your teeth," so he ran away from me and ate an apple, and then he went to bed.
